Hi WhenWillIgetIt,
I am in the same stage as you are with the same PD, I know that it is very stressing for us to see people applied in 2009 and received GC in 2009.
They took my second FP in last June but no update after that, do you have any clue or idea what is going on in this dark black box?

Congratulations!!! As ah1204 said it is very strange that those who applied in 2009 are getting their approvals while some of us who applied in 2007 are still waiting and our processing time is even current or passed!!! so please tell us more about the details that happened after you made the calls and etc. Thanks a lot.

Hi,
YOu should be getting it any time now. I will tell you what I did. I do not know which one worked.
1. Sent a letter on August 17th 2009 for porting my case to EB2.
2. Sent a letter on September 14 th 2009 for porting my case to EB2.
3. Contacted CA senator Boxer on Sept 15th.
4. Called USCIS 3 times. ( first time just asked, whether I am EB2 no help, only thing she said that there are two I140 attached to your case. Second time She opened and SR. Third time she said that your I 140 was filed in June this year and we are handling cases of Sept. When we start looking June cases your file will be considered.)
5. My SR response was "Addition review call us in 180 days if you do not here from us"
Let me know if you need to here any thing more.

Hi ,
How to port the date, I mean any form is there or just letter submitted and it is submitted by You or Your Attorney? Please could tell? It will be more helpful for me.

I have applied I485 with EB2 I140 on 2nd July 2009 PD is Aug2006, On Feb 2008 my EB-3 I-140 approved and PD is June 2004. Last year, I asked my attorney to port the date (to use EB3 date to EB2), He said that he already ported the date. I was assuming that my date is set to June 2004 and I called to USCIS 4 times and I went two time in last month, A Ticket is opened on myself and got a letter that it will take 6 month, Ten days back another ticket is opened for my daughter, My daughter got the letter that Her case is not in the current bulletin. Looks like attorney is not set the date, and he is not responding to my email.
