Hi,

When did you receive the letter for fingerprinting?

Me & my wife both received the letter for FP on 8th February, Saturday.

Was the information for FP in the same letter as Receipt Notice? I received Receipt Notice on 22nd Jan which says I should wait for another letter with FP details before going to ASC.

No we received receipts on the day before on 7th Feb. Our receipts also mentioned to wait for a separate notice for fingerprinting. You should be receiving it any day.

Hi,

One more question. Did your case status change from Acceptance/Initial Review when you received your FP appointment letter?

Thanks

No it did not change from Acceptance to Initial Review when i received the FP appointment letter. I believe before getting the biometrics done, they don't actually start processing the case as you have to get cleared from any inadmissible grounds first and that is done by your finger printing.

Also changing status from Acceptance to Initial Review doesn't mean anything. Lots of people on this forum got straight 'Initial Review' status and lots got 'Decision' from 'Acceptance' status for months.
