Hi there. My receipt date for my I-140 was 04/16/2014. Approved 11/04/2014.

Receipt date for I-485 was 05/02/2014. Case still pending. Our cases were filed around the same time. Any idea what's going on with TSC?

Hi,
Congratulation ! Now you can relax and enjoy :-). A quick question from me. Your I-140 gets approved in Jan 2015, however, you heard about I-1485 in June 2015. Did you make any SRs in between ? Thanks for your help.

To ngc1277,
I made three SRs in Jan., Feb., and April. Almost all of them gave me regular useless responses, like "case is still pending/currently adjudicating with the officer. please wait for 60/90 days". So sometimes SR is not very helpful and don't make too many SR or congressional inquiry. In my experience, if you made too many SRs, they might cause a delay for the processing of your 485 case. All you can do is most likely keep waiting and if possible, you can try to call the Level 2 representative of USCIS NSC to get more information. Hopefully you can get your 485 approval notice very soon.

Hi,
Thanks. Your information helps a lot. How can I speak to level 2 representative ? Usually, I am not allowed to talk to them, right ?

To ngc1277,

Just directly call National Customer Service Center (NCSC), and tell them like"you would like to talk to the next-level (level-2) representative". But it doesn't work every time depending on the officer. However, due to the processing time of 485 case in TSC, you case is still in the normal processing time. So you can't make SR yet. Hopefully it will help you something.
