Discuss panditdeep's I-485 USCIS Case

Hi panditdeep,
In addition to the CPO email, did you also receive an update saying your permanent residence has been registered and welcome notice has been mailed? If so, how many days after the CPO update did you receive it?
I too got a CPO update today.

Congratulations. Yes, i received the second email about the registration of permanent status and welcome notice couple of hour later the same day on 7/28. I received the welcome notice(i797) on 7/31. I am still waiting for the card mailed notification and i expect it to get sometime next week. If you go through the trackitt cases it seems that cpo to card mail is taking 12 to 15 days.

thanks a lot and appreciate your prompt reply. I just received the welcome notice update. I am traveling in the last week of August and I hope I receive the cards before we leave.

My priority date is 11/13/2012, my EB1A I-140 approved on 08/05/2014. USCIS received my EB1A I-485 application on 09/05/2014, I got my EAD & AP in Dec 2014 and still waiting for I-485 approval. Raised SR and got a response saying that my application is in line for processing and adjudication, please let me know if you have any idea why its getting delayed this much. Thanks !

Truly speaking nobody knows how TSC adjudicate the cases. Since your I140 is already approved and your I485 case is now within the processing timeframe for last couple of months, you should get the approval notice anytime if you are not one of the very unluckiest one. SOme cases end up in extra security or name check and just hope your is not one of those. Other than that I wish you good luck and hope your i485 will get approved yesterday.
