Congrats on your GC approval & wish your spouse's case go thru in the same way.

I also filed based on cross-country chargeability... I'm wondering if you had to submit any special letter or highlighted the fact that you want to use CC? How did you mention this to USCIS? Cos in some discussion forums I read that people had difficulty in explaining that they want to use CC.

And if possible, can you tell me which attorney group you worked with? I'm working with Fragomen.

Thank you very much!
The only thing would be the birth certificate( I just sent the birth certificate along with the English translation). Your passport would highlight the birth country as well. So I think you should be covered.

RFE for spouse, reason is birth certificate. The one we provided was incomplete, it was missing her mothers name.

@sgreened..During your I485 process..Did you submit the Shahada Milad Asliya (the Permanent birth certificate) or the Shahada Milad Mauqoot (The Temporary birth certificate)?

I think it was the permanent one. I got it translated and no where it mentions whether its temporary or permanent. It just says issues by the Ministry of Health, Saudi Arabia.
