Hi,

After getting I-485 approval email/msg, does any action required at our end to get Green Card ?

How many days it takes to get card ?

I talked to attorney and she told only thing I have to do is submit another I-9. Your visa is no longer valid and you are permanent resident. USCIS have already registered you so no action is needed.
Also she told I still have to submit AR-11 whenever I make move within US.

I am On L1A and my visa is valid until June'2016. In that case I don't think above actions are applicable to me.

Once your i-485 is approved, your L1A is invalidated. You are not on non-immigrant status. You would have to file I-9 with employer using A# printed on your Green Card

Hi,
Am waiting for my i-485 approval. I just wanted to check what was your field office ? Trying to see if the field office dates have any influence on the i-485 dates.

From your experience, does the "Welcome Notice" and the Card arrive in the same mail or they arrive separately ?

My Card came on Friday and welcome notice after it i.e. on Saturday.

I m also waiting for my approval, as my priority date is 8 April. I am fearing weather they have forgot my case. Should I raise SR or not.

Register on USCIS website and from there you can get tracking info.

Thanks ATLIND. I have registered on the USCIS site, it only shows the status as "Card Was Mailed To Me". No tracking # there. Is the a separate link / option from where the tracking # can be obtained ?

I have received my "Welcome notice" and on 30th Oct the status changed to "Card has been mailed". I was wondering if there is any way to tracking the card ? Is there a tracking # available ?
