Hi, I am glad you are done with your process. I have a question regarding the birth certificate issued by Embassy you faced in you RFE. How did you replied your RFE? What documents were submitted by you in the RFE response or any suggestion from you ?

I have also submitted my Birth Certificate issued by Embassy because the original birth Certificate was not in English.

Regards and thanks in Advance.

If you have a birth certificate in another language, you can get a translation to USCIS. In our case, we made a trip to Ethiopian kebele in Ethiopia and got a certificate stating that Ethiopian birth certificate will be issued only if at least one of the parents are of Ethiopian origin. In our case, parents were both expatriate teachers there. We gave our trip details and this certificate along with embassy issued birth certificate. Also we had a certificate issued by Ethiopian hospital at the time of birth. We submitted all of this.
