Raised an SR few days back. No updates since then.

Called USCIS 11/29/16, Spoke to L2 officer. He did not have anything other than the case is in line to be reviewed by an officer and that there were lots and lots of cases to be reviewed.

SR response : "U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records show your case is in line to be reviewed by an officer. We ask that you allow additional time for this process to take place since we process these cases in the order received. If after 60 days you have not received anything in the mail, please contact the National Customer Service Center (NCSC) at the number provided below."

Called USCIS today for an update, The L2 Officer just read the SR response for me and told me to wait until the 60 days are up following the previous SR. Could not get anything else out.

I see we both have quite similar timelines.This has been a frustrating wait, no doubt!

nothing. my SR raised on 19th nov told me "We had to perform additional reviews". an infopass in december revealed little to nothing. will raise 2nd SR next week as it will be 60 days past 1st SR. My spouse RD is on July so I am not sure if it's her 485 or my 485 that's holding the approval. I filed for AP in Nov 10th and that's still pending too which makes me guess that my 485 might be the one held up.

i was checking for past eb1-i approved cases from last few years and very few of them were held up longer than 13 months (total with i140 approved), so I am hoping worst case we hear something by April.

"Application Filed:" is the date you mailed your 485 package. I am guessing it would have been 22nd or 23rd March. Do correct it, if possible as otherwise it's skewing your numbers like "Time to Get Fingerprinting Done:" and "Days Elapsed:"

Also,I was told by L2 officer on two different instances that there is nothing pending on my case. I take that as nothing is holding up my case such as BC.
Can you raise the 2nd SR, 60 days past the response after the 1 st SR or from the date the first SR was raised?

To be on the safe side, add weight to my case and allow no chance to get shut down by an irritated L2 on phone I will make the SR phone call, 60 days after receiving the 1st SR reply. all the best!

Hi eb1ass, am in similar situation. I got "We had to perform additional reviews" response from SR. But based on infopass and call from l2 officer, everything is fine and its within normal processing time. No idea whats going on.

I have been following you and basty's case. We are all together on this frustrating journey. I think SR is a way to buy time. They offered to initiate 2nd SR on my case today. I told them I would rather not at this time.

eb1ass, one question for you: During the course of your career in US, do you remember ever being subjected to background checks, before starting out for a new job? thanks

Now a days universities conduct a thorough background check and FBI check before taking a person in. I have had 3 of them done over Sat 4 years.

thanks for the wishes buddy :) Will keep a watch on your case. hoping your turn is around the corner too. Did you file any more SR's? My approval came the very next morning of the evening I got an SR reply. If you have crossed 320 days since RD, filing 2nd SR might be helpful as your extended review might have been completed and filing the 2nd SR will force someone in USCIS to open your file and process the rest of it. This could save you a few weeks instead of waiting for someone to pick it up.

Thanks Batsy71, I called USCIS and filed the 2nd SR today. Fingers crossed till it happens
