Hi,

Just wanted to confirm, is your category EB2? I am asking because in August the date was not current for EB2s.

not sure yet, have not heard back from uscis since the transfer.
We were told by our attorney that the we might be called in for an interview since we recently got married and do not live in the same city.

How recent is the marriage ? And also did you submit any proof of marriage in your case

Hope you dont get called for an interview. My case is very similar, per my lawyer recommendation, I submitted some documents, like phone bills, gift receipts, flights, insurance policies where I have my spouse as the beneficiary.

txwarrior,
got married in may 2016. yes submitted the marriage license and some other documents.

737187,
yes i hope so too. but i'd rather go in for an interview than wait any longer. no one expected the wait to be this long and the responses we get from and SRs are just very ambiguous.

I understand. I am just afraid that if I get an interview they will take forever at the local office to schedule it.
Fingers crossed ;)

Did your petition only get moved to Nebraska or your spouse too ? Both moved to nbc ?

31 Jul 2017 #16
with no movement in the case, it is really frustrating.. we were also hoping for an RFE for medical, but nothing yet... and interview does seem very tempting..lol
just mine was moved to Nebraska, my Spouses is already there.

When was your spouse moved to Nebraska ?

31 Jul 2017 #18
My spouse's application was always in NSC. Mine was TSC and was moved to NSC.

31 Jul 2017 #19
How is that possible ? Can you
File applicatons in 2 different service centers ?
Posted by mightygoat

yes, we did an AOS after getting married.
NSC would not accept my application since they do not have jurisdiction of a person residing in Texas. i would have rather had it filed at the same location as my spouse.
