I signed one in 2006.. regret till date.. even though I have a MBA from US, my job did not require a Master degree and hence Employer filed under EB3 India.. Call it my luck or fate.. I'm a bonded slave for life. I have been working for this employer since 2005, same role and same pay. I have made my self miserable.

Can someone refer me to an attorney who is good at reviewing Contracts that company’s make us sign in order to initiate Green Card. I did a foolish thing in 2006 and I am still stuck since the firm did not want to file the GC under EB2 and instead trapped me with a EB3(I). I want to quite my job and return back to India and my company insists that I pay back all expenses which per then current email is about $28K. I don't have that much money to pay back. I have been to stuck working as a analyst for the same company since 2005 and have a Masters in the US.

I’m just as much frustrated but not hesitant to return back to India. But I need someone to guide me through how I can get out of this mess that I dived in

I accepted an offer last month the job title and job description is no way close to each other. My previous employer is ok with me leaving and they are giving my approved I140 and Labor Cert. My priority date is April 2007(India- EB3). I see no ray of hope of getting GC in the next 10 year unless I find a new employer to file under EB2. Any insight on the risk will be appreciated

Sick of waiting under EB3 India.

Restarted the process July 2007 and today HR came back with a note -
As you know, in order to file a Labor Certification Application (i.e., PERM) with the Department of Labor on your behalf, XYZ must first test the U.S. labor market and make an attestation under the penalty of perjury that it was unable to find qualified workers for your position. Unfortunately, we have identified qualified applicants for this PERM filing that will prevent us with moving forward with this PERM.
