December 24th: your alien registration number was changed.....
December 26th: your address was changed relating to the I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION .....
I have to start my work on January 6th it seem i won't make it. I called them to expedited the process. I really hate the feeling, 66 days under pressure

On January 6, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Do you have any feedback when you try to expedite the process? I filed the application the same day as you and the status still hasn't changed. I am also supposed to work at Jan 6th and now be tempararily separate from the company. Feel terrible.

Yes I got an email, that they rejected my request, I called them back they told me to send the evidence by mail. at the same day they approved my request but it still in card production.
December 26 I made the request
December 30 I received rejection massage
January 6, I call them back, I got approved
January 9 still in card production

You should call 800-375-5283, and ask for expediting the process

On January 10, 2014, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days.

Do you have any tracking number from usps ??? I wounder why I don't have tracking number??

no I do not have a tracking # yet, neither I received a letter of approval... :(

Hi Faisal,

Can you please share some info about how you called them after the denial and got approved? I went through the same process as you did - receipt date Nov 25, called them to expedite the application on Dec 16 and got rejected by email. I called them again today but was told that I can only put through another expedite request after 30 days.

I was supposed to start working on Jan 6 so I'm getting pretty desperate..

on January 6, I just called 1-800-375-5283, and I talked to the customer service, I said I have job offer (starting date: January 6), then he said I can do another expedite request after 30 days. Then I told him USCIS asked me to provide an evidence and I would like to send it to USCIS and I don't know how ??? then he told he will transfer my call to the second officer,
after one hour of waiting the second officer told me I should send the evidence (job offer ) by mail,,, I said ok.(I did not send any thing)

Thanks for the detailed explanation Faisal. I've already contacted my international student office and they are useless. I'll try calling them again on Monday and hopefully I get transferred to a second officer too...Anyways, congrats!
