what is your local USCIS office? did renewal EAD got approved?

My application is at NBC. No updates on the EAD or the Service Request that I submitted 15 days ago. Kind of nervous now.

which category is this? L2 ead renewal / gc ead renewal / others?

I am on the same boat. I filed my renewal on 4th April. My EAD(i485 Based) expired on 4th June and I am on automatic extension of 180 days which is going to be end on 2nd December. After that i have go on Loss of Pay. Thinking of expediting my request after 15th October ( pass 6.5 month USCIS processing time).

szakhtar, yes talk to them on Oct 15th and you will get the service request ticket number. you should get the card within 30 days. If nothing happens, then call them again on Oct 30th, and file another one on Nov 15th.

Will all these follow-ups, I am sure, you will get the card before Dec 2nd.
Also, try to talk to your local congressman (On oct 15th) and ask them to send a communication to the USCIS office. that could also speed up the process.

Just received an email notification about my EAD approval.
"New Card Is Being Produced" on Oct 16th

No updates on Expedition request or on the SR.

Finally - Got the notification today for "New card being produced." Interestingly, the notification came from the DHS website while the USCIS website still does not show the update. I hope to receive the card in the mail soon.
