Discuss ryan23in's OPT USCIS Case

Hey ryan23in. I was not able to track my case for one week after the reception of my I 797 C. Nonetheless, after passage of 10 days I could track it online. I was getting very anxious during the time where i was not able to track it online but when I called up USCIS customer service they told me that they have some problem with the online tracking system and advised me to call them on phone whenever I needed to track my application. So I think there is no reason to worry about online tracking system as long as somebody is answering your questions on phone. hope this helps.

I saw one of ur posts which said you couldn't track your status online. so do I. I applied on April 7th and still not able to track it online. When you were finally able to find your status online. After how many days?

I was able to track my status beginning on April 13, 2011. Nonetheless, I received my I 797 notice on April 6th. So I would think that it took 7 to 8 days for USCIS to update my case status. But if you are unable to track your status online even after a month from your receipt date then I would suggest you to call USCIS and get the updates for your case. Hope this helps !
