Yes. The TSC receipt date is April 28, my case was redirected to VSC on May 1st

VSC is definitely dealing with 1401953XX now

oh, my receipt was direct from VSC...strange because i mailed it to TSC...while my #is 149020xxxxxx :(

I'm getting very worried. I mailed to VSC on Apr 24th and received receipt on Apr 28th and it is still initial review. I requested for expedited processing twice and both were rejected... My number starts with 14901919**. I have a job offer which was due on Jun. 2nd. I'm almost one month past due.

I don't thin this number system has a logical meaning. I applied at the beginning of June and first five digits of my number matches with appliedtoolate????

I think you are just not lucky. I started to see clearance for 149019**** almost from two weeks ago.
BTW, I didn't mail my offer letter which made me anxious later. But it seems not an issue.

I think it might be different for different centers, but should be in a sequential way for a particular center. Approval shows some randomness (with a large deviation I guess), but still statistically predictable.

by the way, did you guys sign up at the USCIS website to get email/sms notice? Or just check it manually every day? :S

It depends on how anxious you are. You will never get any email before initial review and approval. You can always check other numbers you are interested in
