no news... I don't know how you guys can call there and make this work. I just called and they told me I have to wait 90 days, and if it doesn't get here by then I can ask for a temporary card. I don't get it why my friends, who sent their applications a month later already have their cards and I don't.

I have no news either :( I really need to start my job ASAP, I called last week and filed a "approaching regulatory time" request. which I'm not sure of its going to help at all.. do they still issue temporary cards?

@davaripa Yeah, the guy I spoke with today said they do. I asked how long does it take, he said up to 30 days.

what is the "approaching regulatory time"?

wow so another 30 days :/ this is ridiculous.. its a service request you can do after 75 days telling them ur case is approaching 90 days.

Did you hear anything yet? I put in an Approaching Regulatory Time Request on my 78th day and got my case approved on monday. Hoping you get an answer soon!

I called again to ask for the Approaching Regulatory Time Request, and she said I'd have to do the stupid biometrics test. Then she gave me a number, and said she would send the request to Texas. Guys, I'm so tired, I hate dealing with this immigration people.

Why do you have to take the biometrics test? Are you doing a STEM extension?

I have no idea, and no. I told her that I didn't need to take one, but she insisted saying she "was following the protocol". I must confess I got a bit irritated with her. Anyways, she ended up doing the Approaching Regulatory Request.

do you know how long it will take after the status shows card is in production ?

After my case was approved, it took about 4-5 days for it to say card was mailed to you.

I have a strange case ... I never got the status saying case was approved or email. The status was case received and then it went to new card in production ... anybody familiar with this scenario ?

Same thing happened with me, I guess that happens sometimes!

Could you share when your card is mailed because my card was order on 6/2. On 6/15, the status showed that the card was order to be produced. I assume that my card is really ordered on 6/15 instead of 6/2. I would like to have the reference. I will appreciate your time. Thanks.

Something similar happened with me. They said the card was ordered on the 13rd, then on the 15 it showed my case was approved and later that it had been ordered. I'm guessing the case was approved on the 13 and the card ordered on the 15th.

I have received my I797 approval notice because my case was approved on 6/2. However, I am waiting the EAD card. Maybe our card timeline is similar. I will let you know if anything updates for my case. Fingers crossed!

Me too. But mine is next Monday.

My start day My 20th. I just received my card, and of course they changed it to June 13. What I found interesting is that they changed my card expiration to June 12. That means I can work til June 13, right?

that is ridiculous. you can work only until june 12 next year.
