No, I didn't get any intermediate notice (for some reason I thought I would, maybe I had heard from someone). It directly went from 'case was received' to 'On June 24, 2015, we approved your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization'

thanks for your response. may i know your last four digits of your tracking #? I want to have an idea of where they are... my uscis receive date is earlier than yours.

I think you can tell where they are by the date that you submitted your docs. Depends also on your field.

Have you received your EAD?

I received the approval notice yesterday. But not the actual card. Hopefully that will come soon too. I'm travelling next week and I need the card :-s

Did the status changed on July 6 from "case approved" to "card ordered"? Did they provide your a tracking number or other things that relevant? Thanks!

It went to "card mailed". Also, today the status had changed to one with detailed information about mailing process, with pick up date, tracking number, etc. And when checked the usps tracking, it said the card will be delivered today. :-)

So first it said just mailed, with no tracking info. A day later, it had details of mailing.
