Email received 08/10/16 saying case was accepted and routed to Potomac Service Center, case# YSC16901514**
Received I-797C from Potomac Service Center with receipt number YSC16901514**. Hoever online case status showing error, no case status upon entering the receipt number as of 081516.
Same for me....showing error online with the case number received in email. Still waiting for my I-797C to come in the mail.
My online status shows new card was ordered on 09/27/2016. Until yesterday it was showing case was received so case approval date is my guess. I didn't do any expedite request anything. I am signed up for electronic and text message notification of my case, however I didn't receive any update about new card was ordered.
Did you filed your OPT Extension with your employer or with a consultancy company? I've heard that the laws have changed and one cannot file their extension with a consulting firm? Do you know anything about this?
with my employer. what is consultancy?
Hey BabuofUsa, Can you please tell me when did you receive the first email/message from USCIS after you sent the documents? i.e. how long did it take? I sent my documents for STEM Extension last friday..
USCIS received 080516, I think I received email and text on 080916 that my case has been routed to Potomac, then on 081516 I received I-797c that my case is under review. I haven't received my card until today.
Thank you babuofusa. I hope I get the response this week..My concern is: I send the document by USPS Express to Phoenix Arizona 85034 and the tracking shows it was signed by j lopez. Did it occur for you too?
any update on ur EAD card ?
nope, anything on yours? i think they are taking 2 weeks from the date of approval for the card to deliver. they have done mass approval i guess and card production is not able to keep up with them so delayed.
Nothing yet..Still says new card is being produced..yes i think they approved many applications recently.
anything yet ? i don't know what takes them so long
nothing man, this is so frustrating...it was not like that a month ago, approval and users used to get next day.
yeah very frustrating, did u call uscis to check ?
i just called, the automated system said 30 days from the approval then agent said 60 days from approval. she wouldn't refer me to L2 officer saying they are not accepting calls at this time.
same here..they said some technical issue ..call tomorrow.
I spoke with a tier-2 officer this morning, he said my card was produced yesterday (10/11/16) and it will be mailed soon. He said call back Friday (10/14/16) to get a tracking number. However I got USPS email that a shipment is my way, I am guessing this is the card.
yes it has to be the card :) let me know when u receive it. good luck.
I also spoke to them ..they said it has gone for printing..you will gt it next week.
thanks! good luck to you too!!
babuofusa, did your USPS shipment originate from Corbin, KY?
see my timeline in the post itself and 2nd comment for the documents I sent. I was also signed up for e-mail and text message alert for the status of my case but got that only once when the case was routed to Potomac (YSC). Good Luck to everyone else for a service very unpredictable....
